Meet John Neumeister

I grew up in Pueblo, went away to get a degree in Economics and Psychology from Stanford University on a NROTC scholarship, leading to arriving in San Diego as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Navy. My service career included two combat tours, exchange duty with the U.S. Air Force, Topgun Instructor and Naval Reserve fighter squadron.

Following my service I became a real estate broker in San Diego for six years, primarily in residential income property and property management, as well as a private investor in residential income property and the rapidly expanding condominium market. A move to Escondido brought me into the residential real estate market for two years.

Realizing that my heart was still in aviation, I pursued a career in corporate jets. This led to living in Australia for several years where I eventually became Chief Pilot of the largest charter operation in Victoria. And after returning to Colorado I spent the last 17 years as Flight Department Manager of a national furniture company who also owns a NASCAR team.

Through all these years my wife, Ronda, and I continued to invest both in residential income and residential property as well as surviving the building of our dream house in Rye. We take great pride and joy in our six children and eleven grandchildren. A move to Colorado Springs and my retirement from corporate flying allowed me to pursue my interest in residential real estate again.

My wide experience, both as a broker and a buyer, has shown me there are an incredible number of possible twists and turns in a real estate transaction. A positive attitude with the notion that nothing is impossible is my basic approach and that helping others through a transaction is incredibly fulfilling. That, and an old fashioned idea that my word is my bond and my handshake is as good as a contract, is my reason for desiring to continue as a real estate broker and Realtor.
